Calatrava's outstanding architectural feats have brough him much acclaimed recognition. The Stadelhofen Railway Station in Zurich, the City of Arts and Sciences in Valencia, and his Turnign Torso Tower in Malmo, Sweden are among his organically inspired architectural structures. Recently, Caltrava's scupltures and ceramics have recieved much recognition. His curiosity for the interconnectedness of movement and geometry has allowed him to create a distinctive scuplture style. In the past few years, Calatrava's interest in Ancient Iberian and Classical Greek art forms has piqued his interest in the field of ceramics. His ceramic wares feature wonderfully painted and incised figures of bulls, doves, and humans. The architect-engineer's dabbling in the artisitc world has brought him much acclaim and will do so or the years to come.
